Introduction to Cross Country!

Run4Fun Run4Life's main goal is to make running enjoyable and foster a lifelong healthy relationship with the sport of cross country and exercise in general. This six-week program, featuring 12 exciting practices, is led by local high school athletes who have been specially mentored to provide the best coaching experience possible. Located at local high schools, this program is designed for kids to have fun while learning the fundamentals of cross country.

Each Session Includes:

  • Warm-Up: Start each session with a proper warm-up to prepare the body for running.

  • Dynamic Stretching: Engage in dynamic stretches to improve flexibility and prevent injuries.

  • Core Exercises: Strengthen core muscles to support overall fitness and running form.

  • Running Workout: Participate in age-appropriate running workouts designed to build endurance and technique.

  • Games: Enjoy fun games that make running exciting and engaging.

  • Static Stretching & Nutrition Talk: Finish with static stretches to cool down and improve flexibility.

  • Game: Enjoy a fun team game to build camaraderie and make practice exciting.

  • Static Stretching: Finish with stretches to cool down and improve flexibility.
